Famous Rock Private Limited is fully committed in Fine Tobacco Grading, conducting efficient Tobacco Markets and Prompt PAYMENT of all tobacco purchases from its contracted farmers.
Grading and Baling
In order to produce and maintain high-level quality in our tobacco products, Famous Rock Private Limited is dedicated in training farmers in fine Grading and Baling. This process ensures that the farmers gets the best price for the tobacco and at the same time the company enjoys the pleasure of handling unmixed tobacco when it comes to processing.
The company and the farmers nominate Baling centers for supervising Baling of tobacco per Tanzania Tobacco Board terms and conditions. Transportation of the baled tobacco to the farmer's Market Centers is the responsibility of Famous Rock Private Limited.
Purchases and Payments
All godowns (warehouses) that the company uses for Central Markets are registered by Tanzania Tobacco Board and registration certificates are always displayed. We make sure that we clean and fumigate at least two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the market ( fumigation certificates are displayed stating the approved fumigant used). All Market Centers are free of NTRM ( Non Tobacco Related Material) and the godowns have sufficient and regulated light to enable correct Tobacco Classification.

Logistics
Famous Rock Private Limited is responsible for the transportation of all purchased Tobacco from the Market Centers to the company warehouses in Morogoro for processing and stripping. All trucks used for tobacco haulage are clean and free from NTRM, box bodied, container bodied or are covered by canvas or tarpaulins.
